Twenty nine residents were killed this Tuesday across the suburban area; Jisreen 8. Alboida 5, Douma 4, Zamalka 2 and one victim in each of the following: Dareyya, ‘Assal Alward, Alhusseiniah, Al’ataibah, Serghaya, Azzabadani, Zakiah, Harasta, Demmar (killed in Alqtaifa) and Damascus (killed in Saqba.)
Alboida: Regime forces targeted peaceful homes with indiscriminate shelling attacks killing five children and wounding at least ten residents.
Jisreen: Assad forces launched an aerial raid on residential areas killing at least eight residents and wounding many others; several suffered burns and fractures while others are in critical condition. A funeral processing was held for the victims. The attack also led to the destruction of an entire building.
Regime forces launched fierce aerial raids with Sukhoi warplanes on Jisreen, Hamoria, Zamalka, Kafr Batana, Douma, Saqba, Al’abadah, Hazeh, Deir Al’asafeer, Mu’adamyyat Asham, Dareyya and Alqaboon. Napalm and phosphorus bombs were dropped on residential areas during the attacks.
Douma: MiG fighter jets hovered over the city and dropped Napalm bombs killing three residents (including an man and his wife), wounding several residents and causing colossal damage to buildings.
Al’abadah: Fierce aerial bombardment targeted the main street in the town and a mosque under construction.
Mu’adamyyat Asham: Regime warplanes launched five aerial raids on the city while the fourth division targeted residential areas with shelling wounding residents and causing massive damage to buildings.
Dareyya: Regime forces dispatched new military reinforcements (supported with tanks, military vehicles) to the city while aerial bombardment as well as mortar and heavy artillery shelling continued to target the city for 91 days in a row.
Deir Al’asafeer: Assad air force targeted the town with phosphorus bombs wounding civilians.
‘Adraa: Assad regime continued to target residential areas with mortar and artillery shelling while its tanks opened fire on Othman Bin Afan Mosque destroying its minaret. Furthermore, ‘Adraa residents continue to lack water, power and all forms of communication for ten days in a row.
Yelda, Babila, and Hajeeret Albalad: Fierce shelling targeted residential areas wounding civilians.
Qara: Military warplanes targeted the west side of the town with rockets.
Deir Attyah: Regime forces dispatched military reinforcements to the city and sealed the road leading to Homs city.
‘Assal Alwared: Abdul Al’eem Khaloof (nine year old) died of his wounds sustained during sniper shooting.
Harran Al’awameed: Regime forces resumed the systematic looting and burning of homes for six days in a row. Scores of homes were leveled to the ground so far as regime forces attempt to extend Damascus International Airport territories over the town.
Evening Highlights: Fierce regime shelling targeted the vicinity of Alqalamoon University.
