Forty five civilians were killed across the suburban area:
Douma 17, Zamalka 16(1 from Jobar), Alkissweh 3, Mu’adamyyat Asham 2, Arruhaybeh 2, Qatanah 1, Jissreen 1, Hosh Alfarah 1, Hazzeh 1, Otayah 1
The Southern Ring Road: The battle of entering Damascus, which was called the Battle of The Great Epic, through the main road of Jobar and the Southern Ring Road has been started. Dozens of dead bodies of Assad forces soldiers were scattered on the Southern Ring Road. The checkpoint of Harmalah was totally destroyed and almost 200 soldiers were killed. Besides that, two tanks were damaged and the nearby area was targeted by a surface to surface missile which led to a huge explosion. The checkpoint of Zamalka was demolished while 70% of Alkheir Markets checkpoint was also destroyed. In this battle three tanks that belong to Al Assad forces were destroyed.
Alkissweh: Assad forces shelled residential buildings killing five civilians, wounding large numbers of people, and causing damage to Ali Bin Abi Taleb Mosque. Furthermore, Assad soldiers looted some stores near the mosque.
Zamalka: Eight people were killed due to fierce shelling with artillery and rocket launchers at a rate of a shell per minute.
Ein Tarma: Fierce clashes took place in the town between the Free Syrian Army and Assad forces while huge explosions rocked Alghoota Asharqia.
Erbeen: Fierce shelling on residential areas amid huge explosions, as a result, billows of smoke filled the sky.
Harasta and Zamalka: Fierce mortar and rocket launcher shelling on residential areas at a rate of a shell per minute.
Hazzeh: A civilian was killed and more others injured when a rocket fell in the town.
Madyarah and Kafar Batna: Fierce shelling on residential areas damaging a mosque in Madyyarah and wounding civilians in Kafar Batna.
Daryyah: Assad forces resumed fierce shelling attacks on the city with heavy artillery and rocket launchers while reinforcements arrived to the vicinity of the city.
Mu’adamyyat Asham: Artillery and rocket launcher shelling on residential areas while Assad forces attempts to invade the city failed after they were confronted by the Free Syrian Army
Bait Sahim and Babila: Fierce mortar and tank shelling on residential areas while Assad forces besieged the southern rural areas for the seventy-first day in a row amid severe shortage in medicines and food while power, water, fuel, and all means of communications were cut.
Zakia: Assad forces, stationed at Azzaiti checkpoint, shelled Alhusinyah area. More than seven shells fell on residential areas. No injuries have been reported thus far.
Evening Highlights: Assad forces tanks, stationed between Adra prison and Tal Kirdi, shelled two cars carrying more than 15 displaced people, burning women and children in both cars.
