Twenty-three victims were killed in rural Damascus this Wednesday;
Dareyya 8, Erbeen 8, Harran Alawamid 2, Annabek 2 and one victim in each of the following Douma, Beit Sahim and Saqba.
Dareyya: Assad forces dispatched military reinforcements from Almazzeh Military Airport due to the fierce gun battles with FSA fighters which continued for the 75th day in a row. Furthermore, regime rocket launchers, heavy artillery and tanks’ shelling targeted residential areas and killing eight civilians.
Erbeen: Eight civilians were killed during the fierce mortar and rocket shelling attacks while gun clashes heard.
Harasta, Zamalka and Madiara: Fierce rocket and heavy artillery shelling attacks targeted the cities while gun battles continued around the Military Vehicles Administration.
Mu’addamiyat Asham: Nine civilians, including children and women, were injured after being targeted by regime snipers during the 4th regiment’s artillery attacks on the city.
Almlaiha: The systematic shelling as well as gun battles continued for the 24th day in a row at the vicinity of Air Defense Administration while residents continued to suffer the lack water, power and communications.
Babbila: Scores of civilians, including a child, were injured due to regime’s shelling attacks which targeted residential buildings.
Beit Sahim: Regime’s indiscriminate mortar and artillery shelling attacks continued for the 64th day in a row whereas clashes between FSA fighters and Assad forces took place at the outskirts of the town.
Shab’a: Fierce regime rocket and heavy artillery shelling attacks.
Annabek: A civilian was shot dead by regime snipers while several shells rained down on the southern parts of the city.
Arrhaibeh: Assad forces stormed the city and many residential buildings were damaged due to regime 81st military regiment shelling.
Khan Asheeh: Fierce shelling targeted the farms between Darwsha and Khan Asheeh during the evening hours.
