Fourteen residents were killed across the suburban area this Sunday; Mu’adamyyat Asham 3, Erbeen 3, Douma 3, Almlaiha 2 (from Almeedan), Alotaibeh 1, Saqba1 and Dareya 1.
Regime forces launched several aerial raids starting the early morning hours on the cities and towns of Eastern Ghoota and Alqalamoon targeting residential areas and using thermal rockets.
Dareyya: Assad forces dispatched additional military reinforcements to the city and intensified their storming attacks for the 72nd day in a row killing a woman and wounding 9 residents. Regime warplanes performed an air strike and targeted one of the regime’s points by mistake while military forces continued the fierce rocket and heavy artillery attacks. Gun battles between the FSA and regime forces led to the destruction of 5 regime tanks and 6 armored vehicles. The humanitarian condition deteriorates while colossal damage to residential buildings reported.
Jdaidet Artoaz: Assad forces stationed at military Regiments 100th and 153rd, shelled the farms fiercely targeting some occupied buildings amid intensive gunfire.
Ein Tarma: Loud explosions were heard due to the heavy weapons shelling while clashes between the Free Syrian Army (FSA) and regime forces took place at the Southern Bypass.
Deir Alasafeer: Fierce rocket launchers’ shelling targeted the vicinity of the town.
Annashabieh: Warplanes launched several air raids on the farms and the areas around the town wounding several civilians. Furthermore, warplanes have still hovered over the town and neighboring villages.
Saqba: Regime Sukhoi fighters performed 5 air strikes at least using thermal rockets while billows of smoke filled the sky over residential areas.
Douma: Assad forces continued to attack the city using mortars and heavy artillery killing three civilians and wounding many.
