Forty-six residents were killed in rural Damascus this Wednesday; Harasta 8, Douma 7, Hajjerit Albalad 7 (including 4 from Alqunaiterah), Beit Sahim 3, Erbeen 3, Almed’ani 2, and one victim in each of the following: Mu’adamyyat Asham, Artooz, Qara, Hjera, Sbeneh, Htaitet Atturkman, Mneen and Almlaiha.
Regime’s helicopters and MiG fighter jets hovered over Douma, Mu’Adamyyat Asham, Almlaiha, Dareyya, Reema, Zamalka and Harasta bombarding residential areas with TNT Barrels, fuel-air, cluster and phosphorus bombs.
Douma: Assad forces attacked the city using MiG fighter jets and committed a new massacre killing eight residents, wounding many and destroying city’s infrastructure.
Dareyya: Military warplanes performed fourteen aerial raids at least, while regime’s forces continued the fierce indiscriminate shelling attacks on residential areas using different heavy weapons. Three long-range missiles fell in the city, reports say. Furthermore, seven civilians were killed (including a pregnant woman) and many wounded.
Alqalamoon: several air strikes were performed on Reema town killing Fatima Wakeel, a 13 years-old refugee from Homs, and wounding many (including her three brothers).
Harasta: Regime’s warplanes performed several air strikes targeting the vicinity of the Military Vehicles Administration while rocket launchers and mortars continued to shell other areas. Ten civilians were reported dead.
Madyara: MiG fighter jets attacked residential areas with fuel-air bombs causing a colossal damage to many buildings and wounding scores of civilians.
Almleiha: Several aerial raids reported during heavy artillery and rocket shelling attacks, while gun clashes around the Air-Defense Administration continued for the 10th day in a row.
Beit Sahim, Aqraba and Hajjerit Albalad: Regime forces continued its shelling attacks in the early morning hours. Several shells rained down on residential areas killing three in Beit Sahim, seven in Hajjerit Albalad and wounding many.
Zamalka and Erbeen: Fierce mortar, rocket launchers, heavy artillery and tanks’ shelling attacks targeted residential areas, while clashes between Free Syrian Army fighters and Assad forces continued.
Mu’adamyyat Asham: Regime’s Shilka stationed at the mountains of Almu’adameya inside pro-Assad militias’ sites continued to attack residential areas in the city.
Qara: Several rockets rained down on the city amid the Doska weapons (DShK) heavy attacks.
