Forty three civilians were killed in Damascus suburbs this Sunday including; Douma 11, Hazzeh 10, Daryyah 5 (1 from Dar’aa) Jesreen 4, Athyabyyah 3, Harasta 2, Erbeen 2, a victim in each of Attal, Dumair, Hosh Arab, Hatitat Atturkman, Aljubbah, and Qatanah.
Hazzeh: Assad forces committed atrocious massacre in the city killing more than ten civilians; all of them were children and women when they shelled a residential area with rocket launchers.
Douma: At least; ten civilians (including children) were killed due to fierce bombardment by Assad forces on some neighborhoods with MiG fighter jets as well as mortars shelling.
MiG and Sokhoi fighter jets bombarded the towns and cities of Almliha, Jesreen, Kafar Batnah, Aqraba, Erbeen, Shab’a, and Douma with air fuel, cluster, and phosphorous bombs.
Jisreen: Assad forces shelled the towns with warplanes as well as rockets and mortars shelling killing four civilians; including a girl, and wounding more others.
Almliha: Warplanes launched more than eight air raids on residential areas wounding several civilians; some were in critical condition, and causing massive devastation in some buildings. Furthermore, the town was subject to fierce rockets, mortars, and artillery shelling amid fierce clashes in the vicinity of Air Defense Administration.
Kafar Batna: Warplanes launched two air raids on the farms wounding several civilians; some were in critical condition.
Daryyah: Assad forces have shelled residential areas for the fifty-eighth day in a row amid unsuccessful attempts to storm the city. The Free Syrian Army damaged two tanks near Almu’adamya checkpoint while civilians lack water, power, fuels and suffer severe shortage in medical supplies due to the siege imposed by Assad forces for 62 days in a row.
Aqraba: Assad forces continued shelling attacks on town with warplanes as well as rockets and mortars shelling amid the lack of necessities.
Beit Sahim: Assad forces resumed shelling attacks on the town for the sixth day amid continual siege. Civilians lack water, power, fuels and suffer severe shortage in medical supplies.
Harasta: Fierce clashes between the Free Syrian Army and Assad forces at the highway checkpoints while snipers stationed on the high roofs targeted civilians’ homes.
Alotaibeh: Assad forces, stationed at Rahbait Tal Hmar, shelled residential buildings with mortars.
Evening Highlights: Rocket and artillery shelling on Deir Alasafeer and Shab’a causing massive devastation.
