Sixty one residents were killed across the suburban area this Thursday: Jdaidet Alfadil 17, Qatana 16, Harasta 7, Muaddamiyat Asham 7 (1 victim from Almazzeh), Zakieh 3, Dareyya 3, ‘Erbeen 2 and one victim in each of the following; Douma, Almlaiha, Harran Al’awameed, Bait Sahim, Azzabadani and Saqba.


Assad militias committed two terrifying massacres in Jdaidet Artooz Alfadil and Qatana.


Jdaidet Alfadil: A car bomb exploded near a bread factory, killing 17 residents and wounding at least 100. Many are in critical condition. Most of the victims are either residents or refugees from other areas who were lined up in front of the factory to buy bread.


Qarana: A car bomb exploded near Mikha’il Sam’aan School in Almasakin district during the morning hours, killing 16 residents and wounding several others. The incidents caused colossal damage to residential buildings, businesses, vehicles and other properties.


Muaddamiyat Asham: Seven citizens were killed and 15 others wounded during aerial bombardment with MiG fighter jets as Assad forces adopt the scorched earth strategy in their attacks against the city.


Dareyya: Regime forces intensified the artillery and ground-to-ground missile shelling on the city. Five residents were killed, two of whom died during shelling on residential areas. More than 250 shells rained on the city.


MiG fighter jets launched gunfire and cluster bombs on Misraba, Harran Al’awameed, Harasta, ‘Erbeen, Dareyya and Muaddamiyat Asham.


Harran Al’awameed: Between 50 to 60 cluster bombs were launched on the town. The bombs secreted whitish glowing substance.


Misraba: MiG fighter jets and Sukhoi warplanes hovered over the town. Regime forces launched five aerial raids, dropped cluster bombs and targeted the town in fierce artillery shelling.


Madyara: Artillery and rocket shelling targeted the town.


Harasta: Assad forces launched two aerial raids, dropping phosphorus bombs on the city. Billows of white smoke filled the sky over the Department of Motor Vehicles. At least seven civilians were killed this Thursday in the city: Muhammad Jendanah, Abdullah Antar, four civilians killed in a massacre in Aljisreen district, and the remaining two extra judicially executed.


‘Erbeen: Sukhoi aircraft attacked the city. Several residents, including women and children, died from wounds sustained yesterday. At least 140 victims were killed in 50 days and residents lacked water, power, fuel and all forms of communication.


Saqba: Fierce mortar, artillery and rocket shelling attacks targeted the city and led to the death of the child Yassin Ali Hammod.


Babila: Several civilians were wounded during fierce mortar and tank shelling attacks launched by Assad forces on the city.


Assayida Zainab: Fierce mortar and heavy artillery shelling targeted the city during the evening hours. Power was disconnected.


Athiyabiyeh: Fierce mortar and tank shelling on residential areas.


Hjeera: Assad forces launched fierce mortar and artillery shelling on the city. It is being reported that Assad forces set up four new mortars in a bus station near Athiyabiyeh and Alhussainiyeh


Azzabadani: Fierce shelling targeted the city. Razan Marie died of a heart attack after panicking during the shelling.


Yelda: Continual shelling targeted the town.


Deir Al’asafeer: Fierce artillery shelling during the evening.
