Thirty five residents were killed across the suburban area this Friday: Muaddamiyat Asham 6 (1 from Almazeh and 3 from Kafr Sooseh), Dareyya 5 ( 2 from Kafr Sooseh), ‘Erbeen 4 ( 1 from Homs), Harasta 4, Saqba 3, Sbaineh 3, Deir Salman 1, Ain Tarma 1, Yelda 1, Otaya 1, Alqaissa 1, Yabrood 1, Dumair 1, Jisreen 1, Hazzeh 1 and Douma 1.
Madyara: Rocket and heavy artillery shelling resumed against the town while residents have lacked water, power, fuels and all forms of communications for 50 days in a row.
Misraba: Fierce and indiscriminate shelling targeted the town wounding several residents. Four rockets per three minutes and one mortar per one minute were reported.
Shab’aa: Fierce rocket shelling targeted the town for three days in a row leading to the injury of several residents.
Dareyya: Regime forces continued to besiege the city and force its residents to evacuate their homes. They dispatched military reinforcements and launched fierce shelling on residential areas in an attempt to invade Dareyya. FSA, however, managed to keep them at bay. At least 215 residents were killed in less than a month, including 13 women and 16 children.
Muaddamiyat Asham: Regime forces continued to launch mortar and artillery shelling since the previous evening killing three residents and wounding scores. Assad militias unsuccessfully attempted to invade the city in which at least 30000 residents and 60000 Dareyya refugees still reside.
Douma: Rocket shelling targeted residential builings on Khorsheed street and Alhmaira district wounding a little girl and setting a home on fire. Continual shelling attacks caused colossal damage to buildings in Alhajarieh district.
Alghootah Asharqieh: Fierce mortar and rocket shelling mainly targeted Madayara, Misraba, Ain Tarma, Hamoria, Saqba, Jisreen, harasta, Douma, Zamlka, ‘Erbeen. Several residents were killed and wounded during the shelling attacks.
Deir ‘Asafeer: Fierce rocket and mortar shelling targeted the town for eight days in a row.
Alqaissa: Shelling targeted Abdul Arrahman Ben Ouf Mosque while residents were performing Friday prayer.
Sbaineh: A child was killed and several residents were wounded during mortar shelling on residential buildings post the mobilization of a demonstration in the city.
Harasta: Regime forces continued to launch shelling attacks on residential areas neighboring the Department of Military Motor Vehicles. In the meanwhile, gun battles were taking place to take control of the department.
Hosh Arab: Fierce heavy artillery shelling led to the injury of several women and destruction of residential buildings and other properties.
‘Erbeen: Three FSA fighters were killed during the battle over the Department of Military Motor Vehicles; Mohammad Ali Sal’as, Mohammad Deiaa Suleiman ( from Homs) and Mohammad Attair.
Saqba: Sameh Arrehan, Hassan Bader ( ’Ajaj) and Eiad Suleiman were killed while defending their fellow citizens in Alghootah Asharqieh.
Kafreen: Security forces dumped the body of a man from Deir Salman. The victim was fatally shot in the head.
Almqailbieh: Assad militias and the 75th brigade targeted the southern side on the town with shelling wounding residents and causing damage to residential buildings.
Demonstraions mobilized in Douma, Sbaineh, Dareyya, Azzabadani, Qara, Saqba, Atheiabieh, Yelda, Yabrood, kafr Batna, Hajeeret Albalad, Ain Meneen, Alkesweh, Harasta, ‘Assal Alward, ‘Erbeen, Assaida Zainab and Rankoos.
