Forty residents were killed across the suburban area this Thursday: Alboida 13, Harasta 8 (one of the victims is from Hamah), Saqba 4, Hetaitet Ajarash 2, Althiybiyah 2, Douma 2, Al’etaibeh 2 and one victim in each of the following areas: Bala, Marj Assultan, Bait Sawa, Saasaa, Aneshabieh, ‘Erbeen, Kanakir.
Albowaida: Assad militias extra judicially executed eight residents: a husband, wife and all their children. Ahmad Mohammad Salman (52), Laila Ahmad Salman (37), Momenat Ahmad Salman (22), Omar Salman (18), Abdullah Salman (17), Gufran Salman (15), Alaa Salman (7) and Kawthar Salman (5).
Regime forces resumed fierce aerial raids on Alghootah Asharqieh for the twenty seventh day in a row and targeted the following cities with rockets, air fuel bombs and machine guns: Saqba, Jisreen, Harasta, Zamalka and Hamoria.
Saqba: Regime forces launched four aerial raids with Sukhoi Su-35 warplanes on Saqba, targeting highly populated residential areas, killing and wounding dozens of residents and causing colossal damage to buildings. Among the victims: Mohammad Haroon, Mouna Haroon (child), Nazeer Darweesh, Hassam Qalesh (refugee from ‘Erbeen) and another woman who was extracted from underneath the rubble of her home. Regime forces also launched rocket, artillery and mortar shelling attacks during the evening hours.
Jisreen: MiG fighter jets bombarded residential areas, wounding civilians and destroying residential buildings.
Hajeeret Albalad and Albowaida: Assad forces launched fierce shelling on both towns, killing at least five residents and wounding many others. The humanitarian condition is deteriorating and both towns suffer from a severe shortage in medical supplies and healthcare professionals.
Harasta: Seven residents were killed during bombardment with MiG fighter jets, mortars and artillery.
Zamalka and Douma: Fierce mortar and rocket shelling.
‘Erbeen: Regime forces stationed at the Department of Motor Vehicles launched tank shelling on residential areas.
Azzabadani: Regime forces stationed in Bludan launched shelling on residential areas starting at 4:00 p.m.
Hosh Arab: Assad forces launched fierce shelling during the evening hours, destroying properties in Ras Al’aqabeh.
Assaideh Zainab: Fierce mortar shelling.
Regime warplanes dropped an unknown white poison on residential areas in Albalalaieh, Aneshabieh, Azamanieh, Albahariah, Deir Al’asafeer and Al’abadeh.
Darayya and Muaddamiyat Asham: The Fourth Division launched fierce rocket shelling attacks on residential areas. Several explosions rocked both cities during the evening hours.
Babila: Tank and heavy artillery shelling. The city is deserted and water and power are disconnected.
Kafr Qoq (near Qatana): Assad forces launched assault raids on homes, including the residence of Mr. George Sabra (new head of the Syrian National Council). Furthermore, residents found the body of Shadi Ahmad Assayed (32 years old, native of Saasaa in Alharramoon) on a farm in Albarakeh district.
