Forty six victims were killed in Damascus Suburbs this Wednesday:
Zamalka 18, Douma 13, Erbeen 3, Darayya 2, Alhusseinieh 2, Harasta 2, Muaddamiyat Asham 2 (one of whom is from Damascus), Dumair 1, Alhameh 1, Madyara 1 and Yabrood 1.
Alghootah Asharqieh: Assad forces launched five aerial raids with MiG fighter Jets on farms in Saqba, Aleftrais and Almuhammadieh followed by three raids on Douma.
Douma: Regime forces launched fierce mortar and artillery shelling on Alhajjarieh and Karm Arassas neighborhoods. Clashes between the FSA and Assad militias ensued after Assad militias attempted to invade the city through Karm Arassas neighborhood.
Harasta: A large number of the Republican Guard attempted to invade the city and the FSA managed to keep them at bay.
Zamalka: Assad forces launched two aerial raids with MiG fighter jets on residential areas. At least 18 residents were killed as a result.
Bait Sahem: Assad forces launched fierce tank and mortar shelling on residential buildings and businesses, wounding several residents and causing colossal damage to buildings. Most areas in the town lost power.
Muaddamiyat Asham: A car bomb exploded in a residential area while forces stationed on Alarba’een checkpoint shelled residential buildings with tanks.
Atheiabieh: Regime forces launched mortar shelling attacks on residential areas after an explosion in Assaida Zanab. Consequently, residents begin to evacuate the town fearing another unexpected attack by pro Assad militias.
