Twenty five civilians, including women and children, were killed across different cities of the suburban area. Many victims, including an entire family, died and more than one hundred civilians were injured during brutal shelling attacks launched by Al-Assad’s forces on homes in Dareyyah. Furthermore, snipers opened fire on civilians in Mu’adhameyyatu-Sham killing a mother and her son. Also, many victims who were killed in the past couple of days in the same city are still on the streets and residents are unable bury them due to the imposed curfew by snipers. Residents in Attal continue to recover more victims who were burned, extra judicially executed or trapped underneath the rubble during latest military offensive on the city.
Al-Assad’s militias launched assault raids on homes in search for activists and rebel fighters opening direct fire and terrorizing residents. Security forces arrested dozens of civilians at checkpoints and led them to unknown destination. Military forces, supported by helicopters, launched shelling attacks on residential areas in Dareyyah after they besieged the city and disconnected all forms of communication, while residents continued to evacuate their homes in search for safe refugee.
